I can't believe it took me this long...
I don't quite remember when I started watching Star Trek. My mother was always a big fan and the Enterprise (under both Captain Kirk and Captain Picard) as well as the Voyager have been constant and enjoyable parts of my childhood and teenage years. I loved watching this shows with my mother as it was something we had in common

Seven seems to be really popular among female fans of the show. My mother likes her, too, and so did one of my senseis in Japan. XD;;
Janeway and Chakotay seemed to get closer throughout the series. I remember that one episode where the crew was forced to leave the two of them behind on a remote planet (presumably forever), and he build her a bath tub and everything, it was adorable.
Maybe I just like star fleet captains and their respective first officers. *lol*
I've never paid much attention to actors, so slashing characters played by them doesn't constitute as RPS in my head (it's something I'm not particularly fond of myself).
And yet, Star Trek never held much slash potential for me. And it's not like I desperately want to read Picard/Riker slash now (now that I'd mind), but I definitely want a spanking scene to follow that episode. And I'm oddly glad for my inner fangirl to get a grip on Star Trek. One more childhood memory corrupted, whoot!
