What to make....
I'm going to a New Year's Eve party where due to the volume of people attending, each person is asked to bring food and alcohol comparable to what they might consume. I can't decide what I want to make for the party. So, what else would I do other than poll my friends?

HAPPY BOXING DAY!
I hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays. I have discovered that taking the Christmas eve red eye flight home is really not the best idea... It resulted in me wearing my pink santa hat for over 24 hours, and being quite exhausted by the end of Christmas day. But it was still good to be home for Christmas. -
Why I love this show...
I'm watching Pushing Daisies. It's a fantastic show with amazingly subtle and hysterical comedic references in it. This episode for instance has a Norwegian investigative team that mentions they will be getting help from "Mother". So much to say... so little time to post. I must go to bed now, since there will be crazy people here in 8 hours who never switch from East coat time to West coast time and think sleeping past 8 is a sin. So when I went to bed sometime very early this morning, the Oregon Senate race had the incumbent up by about 10,000 votes, with 26% of the precincts left to report. Now, the incumbent is down by 2500 votes with 24% of precincts left to go. This is totally still anyone's race. Election Night
Have I mentioned that Portland is awesome? I hadn't gotten my ballot in prior to today, so I headed out to downtown to drop off my ballot in one of the ballot boxes, as well as to get my free Starbucks and free Ben & Jerry's. Anyone got suggestions of good songs to sing for karaoke on election day? Basically anything that is political in an amusing way, or something that would mention impending change/doom.
