My Cingular account summary reveals that I've spent 37.666666667 hours talking on the phone since July 20. Does that seem ridiculous to anyone else? I can't believe it... I won't believe it...
I don't think anybody comments on anyone's livejournals or blogs anymore. I hope we aren't moving on to some new fad. I mean, I don't even know how I would deal with that. Heck, I just stopped wearing tube socks with shorts like a year ago.
umm so i thought i'd send you a little commento. about this artist guy that i have on my livejournal called ronny day. he's young. he's hip. and i kinda like his music. the problemo? well he writes these super "profound" entries that i don't even understand most of the time. and then these girls will comment saying things like "oooh ronny i totally agree," "ronny you are soo wise and profound" "i like your writing. someone loves you" "it'll get better ronny". those make me a little sick to my stomach. also. i saw katie today! at this prayer thing! she is great! hello Kelly! i was feeling nostalgic for my old blogging ways, not knowing if i'd even remember my livejournal username, but i did. my little friend list was still on there, and one of my little friends still posts things, to my great and pleasant surprise! i wouldn't blame you if you didn't even remember your early-graduating, off-campus-living friend from Dean's writers comp class freshman year, as you've been so busy winning pulitzers (yeah, i read the viewpoint; what of it?) and changing nationalities and things, but i certainly remember you with great fondness. i saw a mention of the 5 in a post, which tells me you still live in San Diego. if that's true, we must (must!) hang out, as i'm still in town, as well. posting my phone # might be a bit foolish, so how bout finding my old livejournal and responding that way, if you read this? candice

Candice. I can't believe how long it's been since we've seen or heard from each other. You could be married or pregnant or both by now. I suppose I could be, too, but you'll be shocked to know I'm not.
Of course I remember you, silly, and of course I think often of that great Saturday morning we spent with you once, drinking lattes and perusing the shelves of D.G. Wills, a great little shop I haven't been back to since that day.
I'm here, in San Diego, and looking forward to seeing you. That should happen this weekend, I hear, and I can't wait.
