Gina had said once that working in the same office as Agent Hotchner’s team was a bit like watching a thunderstorm from behind closed doors. If you got too close, you started to feel the effects, but if you kept your distance, if you kept your objectivity, you could stand in the window and watch everything go to hell without you.

Nnnng thank you! I had a lot of fun writing it. I like the characters that are involved in all of this without being a part of the team. I think sometimes I forget that what happens to the team members doesn't happen in a vacuum. Like, what happened with Elle probably stayed with Anderson for a long time, and I'm sure he blamed himself for it. And there's all of these other moments (because Anderson always seems to be around in the big episodes) that effect the rest of the people at the FBI. Gina and Anderson were both obviously friendly with Reid when Reid was kidnapped. Kevin and Anderson both worked on the Reaper case in tandem with the actual team. It's just interesting to look at things from the perspective of someone who's part of that world but not in the center of it.

This is really rambling but idk I just loved writing this and I might expand on it eventually because I obviously am in love with Anderson.
