the questions thingy...

Mar 12, 2012 13:08

i got a couple lists of questions recently as parts of memes from solosundanceand catyahwhich i haven't answered until now :)

catyahasked:

1. Three people (living or dead) that you'd like to meet.
2. Three favorite pizza toppings.
3. Three things that you want for your birthday.
4. Three cars/bikes/other form of transportation you'd love to own.
5. Three favorite TV shows that are currently on.
6. Three favorite TV shows that you WISH were still on.
7. Three favorite music videos.

my answers be:
1.  in no particular order, Winston Churchill, Edgar Allan Poe, Jack the Ripper (so i can know who he was)
2.  pepperoni, mushroom, cheese.  all three please!
3.  flowers for my garden for this spring/summer, a new grill, patio furniture for my screenhouse that is conducive to napping. :)
4.  1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible, a horse, a brand new truck that could also be a convertible (if they ever make one)
5.  Sons of Anarchy, Breakout Kings, Alcatraz.  and a fourth would be Hell On Wheels :)
6.  Magnificent 7, Remote Control,  Farscape
7.  they still make music videos?  ;)  i will always love love love guns and roses "November rain".  LMFAO "sexy and i know it" is too damn funny.  it's almost so bad, it's good, you know?  and hoobastank's "The reason".  and i know there are more i'm not thinking of and will kick myself later about.

solosundance asked:
1) where are you and I going to meet for a beer? I need to know the dress code.

2) what was the first grown-up novel/story/character/song that changed your life?

3) so… what's your position on astrology? I'm Leo with Taurus ascendant apparently but I don't know what that means.

4) which three of the M7 boys would you want to be stranded on a desert island with and why? If you all get rescued one by one (by the others natch) , who would you want to left with waiting for the last helicopter ?

5) best and worst piece of advice you've ever been given?

6) why squirrels?

7) money's no object, what's your ten year plan?

and i says:
1.  anywhere you like!  and if there is a dress code, we'll break it!  usually i like the places that aren't classy enough to have a dress code. :P

2.  "The Watchers" by Dean Koontz.  i always thought that i read slow, and i felt dumb.  i wasn't, but it felt that way.  this was the first really long book i read (400 or so pages) that i didn't feel daunted by.  i think i was about 11 or 12.  and it made me realize that long books are not scary, and no, reading slow doesn't have anything to do with intelligence.  i still remember most of the story too.

3.  i'm an Aries, a fire sign.  i was born in the chinese year of the goat.  so i'm a goat goat.  i have no idea what this means for me.  sometimes i think there's something to astrology, but other times i think it's all junk.  like fortune telling.

4.  i suppose any three would be fun, and for different reasons, but i think i would like to try ezra, vin and buck.  i get a hoot out of that trio.  i can see them picking on each other, busting each others' balls, and having a grand time doing it.  i, myself, enjoy a good round of ribbing... both giving and getting.  so i think that would be fun. :)

5.  best advice:  don't be afraid to try something new.  worst advice: you need to learn how to "play ball".

6.  why not? :)  seriously though, i think they're adorable.  they have cute little faces, and they're fluffy, and they're so damn clever.  they just want some free noms.  and they frolic and play, and they can run up trees...  i think it would be fun to be one.  don't you?

7.  my ten year plan would include owning a house with enough space that i would never consider moving.  it would have the best of everything (water, heat, electricity) so nothing would ever break.  i would have a pet piggy and a baby goat.  and my cats.  and i would rescue big turtles from stupid people who buy animals without thinking.  and i would rehab squirrels.  and i would write books.  and i would be with the love of my life, who would put up with my shit, and i would put up with his.

yay for questions!  that was a fun way to spend my lunchbreak!
