Christmas is for idiots.
Thought Heechul as he stared at how the others scrambled around the house, trying to get all the decorations done before the big day.
Sungmin was putting mistletoes in the most random settings, Yesung was helping Kyuhyun place the presents underneath the Christmas tree while Donghae and Eunhyuk were hanging up the remaining trinkets and shiny junk still inside the massive decoration box.
Kibum stood a few feet away from the Christmas tree with the bright star held possessively in his hands; this time, he was not going to let Donghae put the star on the tree.
Kangin and Eeteuk were scouring for Santa and reindeer costumes while Hankyung, Shindong and Shiwon were in the kitchen deciding on what festive dishes to make tomorrow. Ryeowook was busy looking through various sheet music and CDs.
Heechul scoffed to himself as he watched all of this happening within their apartment. The second eldest had taken it upon himself to 'supervise' over them while they get everything organised for tomorrow.
Because truth be told - Heechul. Doesn’t. Care.
He found Christmas irritating since it meant no-one will be paying any attention to him. Instead, they would be either decorating, wrapping presents, talking about how awesome Christmas was or just completely spazzing about it.
It irked him to no end on how others could be so happy on a day that didn’t really require him to be there for it to be perfect.
All in all, Heechul thought it was a complete waste of time.
Thinking that he had taken enough of the festive crap, Heechul decided to turn in for the day since he had been up for God-knows-how-long watching the idiots around him decorating the place to death.
Honestly, he couldn’t believe the amount of trash they had kept in the attic for this 'special occasion.'
So when Heechul left the room with the door banged shut in his wake, everyone else decided to put their plan into action.

When morning arrived, Heechul’s mood had somewhat lightened a little. With his rather dramatic exit last night, Heechul believed everyone would finally start to take notice of him this Christmas.
He grinned smugly to himself as he got dressed for the day; he even wore reindeer ears and a glowing red nose.
Satisfied with his appearance, Heechul skipped towards the kitchen while he hummed a Christmas carol to himself.
As he got nearer to his destination, Heechul could faintly hear the others chatting amongst themselves. He stopped his skipping and humming as he strutted confidently into the room.
When he opened the door, he was greeted with silence as everyone turned their heads at his direction.
Heechul was wearing something Christmas-themed.
Heechul was happy about something.
And when Heechul was happy, it meant suffering for them.
"Merry Christmas my beloved slaves." Greeted Heechul as he raised his arms up into the air and put up the biggest smile he could muster.
Not wanting to displease the man, everyone else gave wary smiles and replied with a "Merry Christmas" of their own as they all discreetly moved their chairs into the right positions for their plan.
"It sure is fabulous to see you all dressed-up and happy on this most scandalous day." Commented Heechul as he sat down at the table. "My, my. The food looks simply scrumptious! You really have outdone yourself this time, Hannie!"
"Thanks, Chullie. But I also had help from Shindong and Shiwon."
"Well then, great job and thanks to Shindong and Shiwon too!"
The said members smiled in return at the praise. Everyone was finally in place.
Heechul looked around the table and figured something was up.
Why was everyone giggling like that?
"Hyung! Look up!"
He raised an eyebrow before he followed the order. And to his horror, there was a mistletoe dangling innocently above his head.
"What are you imbeciles trying to pull here?" Asked Heechul as he sat frozen on his seat, his eyes not believing the sight before him.
"Nothing harmful, hyung. We just don’t want you to feel neglected."
"By putting a mistletoe over my head?" Squeaked Heechul.
"Get over it drama queen." Said Sungmin as he giggled uncontrollably. "Just turn around and kiss Wookie already."
Heechul quickly looked behind him to see Ryeowook standing behind his chair. The younger waved shyly at him as he offered him a sweet smile before saying, "pucker up, hyung. We mustn’t destroy the Christmas spirit!"
"Ryeowook?" Was the only word Heechul could let out before the other man’s lips covered his own. It was brief, but it was enough to send Heechul’s mind reeling.
When Ryeowook ended the kiss with a loud, ‘mwuah,’ the onlookers, who were staring as the couple smooched, erupted into laughter at the priceless expression of Heechul’s face.
"Hyung looks so scarred!"
"Like hell! I bet Chullie-hyung liked it!"
"Omo! He must be gay then!"
"Join the club, hyung!"
Heechul buried his face in his hands as he tried to drown out the jokes. He was embarrassed, but at least everyone was paying attention to him (because that’s what matters the most).
Soon, the others had stopped cracking jokes about him and breakfast passed rather contentedly. To Heechul, it felt good to have a little piece and quiet after the drama.
However, his good mood went down to an all-time low when he got kissed by Ryeowook in the living room, under the Christmas tree, outside the bathroom, next to the staircase and other random places where Sungmin had hung his stupid mistletoes.
This year’s Christmas was really starting to irk him more and more (never mind the amount of attention he was getting, even though it made him feel wonderful inside).
Because each time he got kissed, the others saw.
And each time they saw, they would crack gay jokes again.
So after Ryeowook kissed Heechul again, this time in the Games Room, Heechul thought of one thing while the others started to laugh their butts off.
I wish Christmas would never end.
