Being world-hopped for the first time left Quatre disoriented for a moment. It was a bit like readjusting to gravity after spending a long time in the weightlessness of space, he found; he had to reaffirm his sense of direction, find his center of balance. Ranka stood on tiptoes to see out the door's peephole (being 5'2'' was tough) and if she had thrown open the door any faster, it would have been sure to fly off its hinges. It was exciting to meet someone else from a world where they'd gone into space. She had so many more questions to ask him! What was it like to live on Mars for one thing; she'd always wondered.

She smiled brightly. "Quatre-kun?"

Quatre was mildly surprised at the force with which she opened the door, but whatever expression of shock he might have been wearing quickly grew into a smile.

"Ranka," he greeted with a nod. "It's good to meet you in person!"

"Me too! It's fun talking to people on the community, but there's nothing like talking face-to-face!" She tucks her phone into one of the pockets on her dress, having opted to put in on silent earlier. Yes, she had asked if she could have an hour or two off, and yes, she was excited about the planning for her concert, but she wanted to take all the time she could off to show her new friend around. You couldn't cut off a city tour right in the middle of it. "Are you ready to go?"

Quatre nodded and stepped aside, gesturing for Ranka to lead the way.

"This city isn't so different than what I'm used to," he noted. "Maybe our worlds are more similar than we think."
