I just handed in the first final version of my degree paper. Woo hoo! Within two weeks I'll have my degree. And then I'll be able to focus on work and also starting to mentally prepare for having a baby.

Tomorrow I go back home. It's going to be great.

So, July 16th, eh? Hopefully I'll have adjusted at least a little bit to being a parent by then. (Yes, I know I can't seem to write any entries these days without mentioning the pregnancy. It's just that my mind seems to gravitate in that direction.)

At my parents house for Christmas. Got here on Tuesday, which is the earliest I've gone north for several years. Feels good. My holidays haven't kicked in, though - still doing my subtitling jobs and still working on my term paper (In about three weeks I'll have my degree! Happy happy, etc)

I feel really social and happy today. Slightly odd, that - it's really really cold outside and the other night I had my biannual hypochondria breakdown when I just cry and cry and tell P about all the things I worry about. And P was great as always and made me calm again ( Read more... )

Waah. No time to spend online. And yet, when I'm stressed out, I tend to end up in front of the computer browsing the same sites over and over. Unfortunately these sites do not include FA and lj. I feel so bad about spending no time over at FA. It used to be so much fun, too.

So. San Francisco was brilliant. Fantastic food, fantastic second hand-shopping, fantastically nice people. And the bookstores! And the architecture! And the weather (well, when the sun was out. When it wasn't, it was less fantastic).

Great vacation. Spent lots of money. Am jetlagged.
