What went wrong:
The dates that Des was available conflicted with Naomi's first ASCA trial, so she couldn't come. I decided to improve the poodle barn surface. The tractor broke down in the middle of the first grooming. Took a week to get it fixed ( Read more... )

Having been many times in the throws of horrible back pain, I gotta say, do NOT kno how you did it. You're ability to push through is amazing.

heh heh, oh I do like my heart to be blessed. Funny though, I never thought it was for others. I think I just WANT WHAT I WANT. Side effect, lots of other people get to play.

You always put on a fabulous seminar. And Beverly is top notch, you are lucky to have her. I think I'll be using new seasons sandwiches to feed our crew.

So sorry so much went wrong, but from the mouths of people I know who went, all were very happy and impressed.

Sigh, May.. I guess it depends when in May. I hope I can attend the next one.

I think at any moment she will figure out that I am exploiting her and then we will be down to Albertson's party platters or some such....I do hope you can. I await Desiree's available dates. I think I'll let her have her Crufts weekend before I hound her.

That is the good thing about starting arrangements REALLY early. You have time for all the things to go wrong, and then recover. I'm really glad you were there, It was fun.

It was one of the best seminars I've ever done. I thought Desiree was excellent.

Seminars at Poodletopia are legendary, someday I can go! I am so sorry to hear about your back and hope it's on the mend. I do think that all of the wrong list was out of your control (ahem, you can only do *so* much..), so all of the right list is just amazing. You rock!

Thanks, Naomi. I think I was a bit silly to decide to redo the surface. At one point I was trying to figure out how I could rent the Cash barn, because I was pretty sure I wouldn't have a barn of my own. Note to self: don't renovate right before a party.
