So, this is the thing. Puppies change. Everyday they change. Who they were this morning is not necessarily who they are in the afternoon. And, in the meantime, there is the business of puppies. It is SO MUCH FUN to have a dog that has her own friends. I hadn't a clue, having never had this experience. (damn stuck up poodles).

Do poodles tho... generally like other poodles? Seems like Bea was a fan of Gus, no? Plus Pirate!!

So looking forward to hearing more about Dove! And you have convinced me, it's time to cave in and let Navarre watch and bark while I work with other dogs. So much for being quiet and well behaved. ;-)

Just for the record, I was not actually trying to convince you. I have just never, ever,ever had any success with the good manners while other dogs are training thing. So I have given up.

Maybe take her to watch a sheepdog trial and then she'll be ready to go. :-) She sounds like a wonderful, smart girl with loads of personality. Those BCs are mighty quirky, it is part of their charm for me.

I was surprised to see how Razzle learns by watching too... When he couldn't get some trick early on, Stella did it and then he could do it... well, I think he now knows more tricks than Stella, he loves learning... the thing I found though was his learning stuck better if he figured it out all himself. just different kinds of learning and where it lives in the brain...

so glad you have opened the LJ window into your world again
