I guess I've been kind of scarce here, lately. No particular reason, just...life, I guess. Or, rather, lack thereof. No job, no money to do all the things I now have time to do. Election is over, and I'm devastated about that, of course

She's such an angel. That's a beautiful blessing you should count one hundred times.

Are you going back to school, or still thinking about it, even? It's better than moping around the homestead, plus the possibilities after certification could open up a whole new world to you.

P.S. I'm still waiting for my Obama prize. I live in a red state, but there were people out and about last Wednesday crowing, "We WON! WE WON!" What did we win? Do I expect it to come in the mail? Really!

We really are so very lucky to have such a wonderful little girl.

I still want to do the school thing. Alas, money is the issue. If I go back to work, I'll have money, but no time. Such is life.

As to what we won: more of the same, and then some. More appeasement of our enemies, contempt for our friends, exploding debt, coverups, scandals, billion-dollar vacations, and a President who, apparently, has NO idea what's going on (if his Press Secretary is to be believed). And ObamaCare is no longer "maybe."
