01. DO YOU HAVE ON A LOT OF MAKE-UP?
None at all right now.
02. HOW MUCH DO YOU PUT ON?
For the most part, my makeup routine has remained the same since I was in the tenth grade -- is that bad?? :) Usually a bit of foundation in the winter (none in the summer), eyeliner along my upper eye lids, mascara, and a touch of blush. For lips, I'll use either the old standby Juicy Tubes or a thicker Chanel lipgloss.
03. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO GET READY?
I'm pretty low maintenance -- I can get ready in an hour if I have to shower. Maybe a smidge longer if I'm going some place other than work.
04. DO YOU PUT ON A LOT OF LIPGLOSS?
I always wear lipgloss, but I always have to put on chapstick first, then I apply a light layer of lipgloss.
05. DOES YOUR LIPGLOSS SMELL GOOD?
My chapstick always smells good, and various lipglosses smell alright. Nothing beats the days of the Bonnie Bell chapsticks though. Who knew Dr Pepper could look so good??
07. WHAT COLOR IS IT?
Oops, are we supposed to be talking about just one? Most of my lipglosses are pretty pale with just a touch of color, but my Chanel one is more chocolatey-pink.
10. DO YOU HAVE A LOUIS VUTTION?
I'm not sure if Louis is quite my style, but I wouldn't exactly turn down one of the large satchels either.
11. HOW MANY PURSES/HANDBAGS DO YOU HAVE?
I have a million clutches to go out, and a million little tote bags, but very few purses to actually use on an everyday basis. My handbag budget has completely gone the way of shoes.
12. DO YOU LIKE TO WEAR NAILPOLISH?
I have little kids hands/old woman hands. Either way, they're not very attractive and I try not to draw too much attention to them. But I almost always have nailpolish on my toes.
13. HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET YOUR NAILS DONE?
Get my toes done every couple weeks in the spring/summer/fall, a bit less frequently in the winter.
14. DO YOU LIKE MANICURES?

15. WHAT ABOUT PEDICURES?
On the other hand, I LOVE LOVE LOVE pedicures.
16. DO YOU HAVE A USUAL NAIL SALON YOU GO TO?
I bounce between two -- one close to my apartment, and one close to work. My all-time favorite salon however, is Blondie's, in Newton, MA. I got the best pedicures ever there, but the guy that did it has since been fired. Rumor had it that he had some sort of weird foot fetish. Can't say I'm surprised, but boy, did he do a good job.
17. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR HAIR CUT?
One of Dave's best friends owns a salon very close to our apartment. I've gone to him for a couple years now, but just last week, I thought he was closed and out of desperation, went to my friend Lauren's uncle's salon, and proceeded to spend a fortune on a haircut I'm not sure I like.
18. DO YOU DYE YOUR HAIR?
No.
19. DO YOU STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR?
No -- it's pretty straight as it is.
20. DO YOU HAVE LOTS OF PAIRS OF SHOES? BOOTS?
Yes, and they take over our entire closet, which Dave complains about at least once a week.
21. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SHOES?
My Rainbow flip flops, which I wear every day, a pair of purple suede BCBG heels, which are no longer in style but I still love, and a pair of gold strappy heels that I bought this past summer.
23. DO YOU WEAR HEELS EVERYWHERE?
During the winter -- yes, for the most part. During every other season -- no.
24. CAN YOU WALK IN HEELS AND NOT FALL OVER?
Yup. Being short, I've had several years of practice.
25. WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR CLOTHES?
The usual -- Banana and J.Crew. live in the Connecticut suburbs, what else is there?? Plus, no other store carries pants or dresses that I can fit into without looking like a bag woman!
26. DO YOU GO SHOPPING EVERY WEEK?
I don't think it's possible for me to go more than one or two days without spending money. That's so horrible.
27. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE STORE?
Banana for clothes.
28. HOW MUCH DO YOU USUALLY SPEND?
It varies. I'll spend quite a bit, but I usually am good about not buying anything from there that's not on sale. Which isn't hard to do, considering things go on sale after a week usually.
29. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN DIOR.
No.
30. DO YOU FOLLOW FASHION TRENDS?
Here and there. I tend to stick to more classic pieces, but occasionally a new trend strikes my fancy.
31. DO YOU HAVE A PAIR OF HUGE SUNGLASSES?
UGH. My one big purchase from London this year was a great pair of Burberry sunglasses. And then several months after I bought them, I think they fell out of my car either at a gas station or in Newport.
35. HOW MANY PAIRS OF EARRINGS DO YOU HAVE?
Not many at all. A few dangly pairs to wear out, but I wear a standard set of pearls every day to work.
36. DO YOU WEAR HOOP EARRINGS?
Not much anymore.
37. DO YOU HAVE A LOT OF SKIRTS?
That's all I wear when the weather is warm! I refuse to wear pants in the summer, and I hate shorts because they never fit right.
39. DO YOU GET YOUR EYE BROWS DONE?
No, but I should. I've been doing them myself for as long as I can remember.
40. CAN YOU APPLY MASCARA WITHOUT OPENING YOUR MOUTH?
Probably not.
41. DO YOU WEAR A LOT OF EYELINER?
Just on my upper eyelid, and it's not that much.
44. DO YOU DO PILATES OR YOGA?
Neither, but I plan on dusting off the ol' Yoga for Dummies video tomorrow.
45. DO YOU HAVE A LOT OF MAGAZINES?
Too many. Mostly food magazines.
