Great dinner!

Tonight I made homemade pesto sauce and had it with bowtie pasta and sauteed chicken breast. Only thing that would have made it better.. well, two things, a nice green salad and some crusty bread, to mop things up.

But how easy is this?

1/4 c. almonds (I used pine nuts)
1/2 c. olive oil
1 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves (I bought a package of them at the store and used the whole thing.. could have been more or less than that..)
1 tbsp. minced garlic (recipe called for three cloves)
parmesan cheese

Toast the nuts in a skillet until fragrant.

Add nuts, oil, basil and garlic to a food processor. Process until smooth.

Cook pasta according to directions. Toss pasta with sauce. Add chicken.

It was AWESOME.
