Hee!

I saw this on wiki -- do you think she could have meant the actress who played Betty Crocker?

"In 1949, actress Adelaide Hawley Cumming became Betty Crocker for many years. She appeared for several years on the Burns and Allen Show, and even had her own TV show. She also appeared in the CBS network's first colour commercial, in which she baked a "mystery fruit cake". Hawley continued to portray Betty Crocker until 1964."

I have no idea, it was just so odd. Although I'd think she would have elaborated a bit and said, "I have the autograph of the actress who portrayed Betty Crocker," rather than sound mad, but she spoke as if she was an actual person. I sort of mumbled "that's nice" and moved away. LOL

Interesting article. It's amazing when you think about it-she really is such an icon.
