I've been MIA for the past two weeks tying up loose ends. At the beginning of July I took a deep breath, looked around and realized it really was time to step off the precipice and stop straddling that line of indecision. No one likes a waffler ( Read more... )

The decision wasn't one I would have chosen, but the economics just couldn't be ignored any longer.

I know exactly how you feel-I have no clue what I want to be when I grow up. :-)

Change is a roller coaster, so, yes, scary and exhilarating.

I'm sure it's a relief not to try to keep a leaky boat afloat.

May you land on your feet in a wonderful opportunity.

I've been trying to keep everything going for awhile (as you know) but it was just not improving. Hopefully the economy will improve soon.

As for opportunities-I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone will want to take a chance on me.

So I've closed my business and joined the ranks of the unemployed, rebooting my life like the icon I chose for this post.

Is it possible to be both excited and exhilarated about a new chapter in one's life and alternately frightened out of one's wits all at the same time?
