Another Hellmouth Slice short story-Chance Encounter

Jan 21, 2010 20:37

The muse has been absent for a long time. Trying to come to terms with my business closing down and all those feelings that created, I've been too depressed to try writing anything. But it seems that I'm finally over the hump now. Here's another short story in my Willie the Bartender series-I hope you guys enjoy it. Rated G. 915 words.

When two vampires have a chance encounter.... )

Thank God the muse has returned. I feared for its demise.

Glad you're feeling the urge to write again. I like this series, and this is an interesting perspective on what else could have been happening in the aftermath of Joyce's death.

Excellent.

Hello Muse! I hug you and kiss you and call you "George" - even if you look like a Spike. /random

Very nicely done. I've missed your writing, although I understand your lack thereof.

As an aside, I re-read your Grundy series over the holidays when I was low. It was a real pick-me-up!

Aww, thank you muchly Manoah. There's just something fun about sticking Spike and Angel in close quarters that can't be resisted.

Re Grundy: Thank you. That's a very big complement to have someone reread something I've written. And psst: Don't tell anyone but I've actually got the outline almost completed for one last
tail tale.

Wonderful sniping between vamps. And all about nothing, as it should be when there's something really terrible to think about. Glad to see more Willie!

Angel and Spike do love sniping at each other, that's for sure.
Thanks for reading.
