Hellmouth Slice Fic-Ladies' Night

Feb 10, 2010 12:51

I'm on a roll. This one shot makes two stories that I've posted within a couple of weeks. Rated G and only 940 words, it's set within Willie's Bar once again. Thank you to enigmaticblues  for the read through.

As you know, I just love these little (some word I can't spell and am too lazy to look up) tales (I can spell that one) set in Willie's. Thanks! (vignettes - I gave in and looked it up)

I like "vignette"-it sounds so much smarter. LOL

I'm glad you're enjoying them. It's been a fun challenge trying to figure out where I can insert these little scenes-in Willie's bar no less-without changing canon.

Willie decided then and there that he didn’t like the brunette. Less interested in helping her friend with her pain, she appeared more interested in scoring points.

He's not wrong...

Nice FitB.

Thanks Petzi. I've never liked Hallie and I struggled trying to keep her from being too overtly mean. It was challenging. :-)

Yeah!! I've misssed your stories. And you came back with one I adore!

I'm a huge sucker for "See the characters through the eyes of an outsider". Willie is perfect for that, and what a perfect little moment!

Thanks Z. It's challenging trying to think up reasons for the characters to be in Willie's bar. Maybe I should just let them all become raving alcoholics....

Seriously,I like reading stories-or in this case little scenes-through the eyes of others, too. That's why I wanted to try doing this and without changing canon. I'm glad you're enjoying them.

So glad I've spent this evening going back through my flist from the last few days - otherwise I'd have missed this little gem.

Poor Anya, so easily manipulated by someone pretending to be her friend.
