Some of your friends still at least are not busy enough to respond to your journals...
Perhaps I just don't have the "sense of self" to write anymore... I don't have any idea what that actually meas, no. Perhaps today I might be able to since you're going to be out. However, I could also prepare for next-week's lab, start writing this week's paper for Ken, revise three other papers, try to find enough info about ocean waves to talk for 2.5 hours, make sections of turtle noses, do laundry, clean my room, etc., etc., etc....
It's weird. I feel so busy like I always have three other things I need to be doing. I suppose that's the way it goes...
At least you have time to think and reflect on life, what's important and that sort of thing. They probably like to keep you really busy in grad school so you don't have an opportunity to stop and think about better things you could be doing with your life...
im glad friends respond. :) i do recognize and appreciate that. and yes, journal writing is best when you have nothing to do - or far far far too much - at least that's when i write... i find it is more difficult to write in the journal now than it was, say, a year ago - because we talk so much, i get a lot sorted out that way. i used to just use the journal as my favorite person to talk to. id rather have you. im sorry you are so busy. i wish i could help you. and nathan, dont sound so down about grad school. i think it is a good thing for you to be doing with your life. you dont want both of us to work in retail forever, do you? :-D someone has to be a good example for the kids! ;-D (ill be working at burger king wearing the jeezy snowman shirt) hahaha. we have crazy memories. hahaha. love you, oui, la vie c'est fou. c'est vrai. :-D bisous! mk
Hahahahaha... Emily, you are crazy "Yeahhhhhh, And i love IT" hahahaha...
Don't worry about me too much Emily, I occasionally think the whole grad school thing is a bad idea, but most of the time i'm fairly happy with it (minus the not being around you part).
I'm glad you have another favorite person to talk to other than a journal. I know the only reason I started one was b/c I knew you'd read it eventually...
If i can talk to you in person, why not just cut out the middle man?
At least that's my thought on it... I certainly don't want you to stop writing in your journal. I love reading them!
