I didn't either, and it seems kind of strange to me... But one of my housemates said it has something to do with, what was it...

Aah, yes... Yearbooks, or other end-of-the-year notations to friends... She claimed that writing just "Have a nice summer" among Muggles meant that you didn't know or like the person enough to write something else, or something like that...? It all sounded very strange to me...

I honestly have no idea... I heard it from one of my classmates, he said it was a Muggle thing, so I don't know... Perhaps ask?
