Hello again LJ

So I'm trying to be present on both here and on Tumblr (bamfinacuddlyjumper there). We'll see how it goes; I get overwhelmed by social media pretty easily.

Went through and curated my F-List; I didn't delete people but I did delete some communities in hopes of making it easier to see the friends posts that are, after all, the reason I'm back here.

Got lost on the path of life, did we? ;) Good to see that you're still alive and kicking. We've missed you. I have also returned after having long spaces in between postings and hope to post a little more regularly. analineblue and I were both commenting on how we feel like hardly anyone, even our (in- person) friends, seem to be reading our LJs as much anymore. But I'm glad it's you guys that are still returning to LJ. There is something that it captures that neither FB, Twitter, or Tumblr seem to be able to capture. See you around <3.

I feel like LJ and tumblr feed different needs, so hopefully both can coexist. But the sheer volume of social media can definitely get overwhelming.

Yeah, they're really different animals, and I think the problem comes from treating them the same way or expecting the same things from them.

...still not touching facebook again. Graah. >_
