She reminds herself she is somewhere.
This seems like such a simple thing, but for Addison, I imagine it's huge.

I loved the whole piece. It's exactly what I've been wanting someone to write since that whole episode and you have the perfect tone and characterization here. I'm so, so excited to see how this is going to play out.

Favorite bits- the sunglasses being used through out, everything involving Derek because I just do, and Maybe they don't need to take two steps back. because life is often so far in front of us that by the time we catch up it's time for some heartbreak.

(Congrats on posting, I hope you'll continue to share. And sorry I didn't get to my PM in time. ;))

YES. I started writing this when I saw "Two Steps Back" and thought about where Addison might be before she learns what happened.
