I seem to have actually remembered that I do, indeed, have an LJ. I got all motivated and decided "Hey, I should embrace this silly thing after two years of neglect!" So what'd I do? I actually changed my layout, for one, since the old one no longer works given my lack of a paid account and all. I swapped out icons. And then I attempted to ( Read more... )

Haha, continuing the "Bring Squish Home" campaign, I see. I'm not actually sure whether or not my sanity would survive moving back there for any period of time. Though, on the bright side, you guys will soon have heat, which we sadly lack during the summer for the most part. On the downside, it's Springfield and summer is gross there.

Wow, you DO still exist! ::grin:: I rarely remove cool people from my f-list, on the off chance that they might resurface one day. ;)

I went to bed at 6 am. Woke up at 4 pm.

Meep. Yeah. If I don't have to be up early for anything, I tend to fall into that pattern. Kinda sucks.

And yeah, I tend to agree that five and a half years in one location is likely long enough. But then, I'm one who likes to stay semi-migratory. I remember you were considering moving the last time we talked, so that's been a while...

And the crazy Chinese lady does, indeed, sound creepy. o_O

Haha, I do the same thing for a while but eventually I'm just like "Yeah, this person is never going to exist again, I give up!"

Yeah, I've been considering moving for like three years, actually. There was New Orleans, Atlanta, a vague hope of traipsing about Europe, Colorado, Las Vegas, LA and long periods of not knowing where but just wanting out. I think at this point I'd consider most places where I had a place to crash for a while and semi-decent job prospects (even shitty jobs). If I could afford to be more migratory I would be. I'd love to spend a few years just bouncing around, spending 6-12 months one place and then moving onto the next just to have the experience and the varied perspectives. Alas, money doesn't love me as much as I'd need it to accomplish that likely.

She's a nice creepy old Chinese lady, but she's still a creepy old Chinese lady.
