Word of the Day

May 27, 2010 21:41

To keep myself entertained, I often open the dictionary and pick a random word.

Whatever floats your boat.

But now I've decided to share this fascinating part of my day with y'all - so without furthur ado, I bring you the very first edition of WORD OF THE DAY.

Which today happens to be ...

muktuk n. the skin and blubber of a whale, used as food by the inuit. ORIGIN from iniut muktak
(Concise OED)

Now for the exciting part, I let the interent loose on this shiny word just to see what happens.

And today it goes like this:

Huskies
Food for thought
Hey Mom

Which lurches from the awww to the ewwww.

Have fun.
Have some muktuk
