you should def. get the ankle cause your going to get old and wrinkly like everyone and you don't want your tatoo to get ugly and you end up hating it u know?

i definately agree. i am leaning towards the ankle idea. hip would be cute, plus it could easily be covered if wanted, but it could also be shown. but i'm thinking about the ankle. mmhm..

awesome for you, megan! i totally understand the wanting it just for you and everything. no justification is necessary. i think i'm getting a small one on my hip sometime over the winter, too.

The ankle isn't as hard to cover as you think, but it does take a tiny amount of effort.
Normally, I would say not the ankle, b/c of the pain of getting a tattoo on bone, but getting it on the hip will make it change after some time, whereas on the ankle it won't so much and the pain won't last forever.
I favor ankle. Hope it turns out beautifully, Megan!

yeah, i don't want it on that fat bone thingie. it'll be on the outside of my right ankle, just above that buldgy bone on the flat-skin surface...if that makes ANY sense at all. haha

yeah, i know it'll hurt, but oh well. i'll have to be a big girl. lol

i guess i just never really pictured myself as a girl with a tattoo, but i really want this.
