i just learned that Robert Jordan passed away last sunday, September 16. RIP. sadly, he was unable to finish the final book for The Wheel of Time, even though he continued work on it until his death. i admire his devotion to his work.

he's the author of The Wheel of Time fantasy series. there were supposed to be 12 books in the series, but he wasn't able to finish the last book. :(

I just read that this morning as well. I was sorry that he wasn't able to finish the last book.
I picked up the prequel today.
