The camarilla fanclub has 6000+ members worldwide. Though it centers around the games made by white-wolf games. Vampire the Requiem, Werewolf the Forsaken (wtf?) and Mage the Awakening.
But pretty much anyone who will play those games has or had an interest in DnD or or GURPS at one point.

But besides that, are there any friendly neighborhood gaming stores in the area? If so you can find people there, as they most likely have a bulletin board.
