I am bad at receiving compliments. I ignore them. I don't say thank you, or your welcome, and I don't deny them either. I simply ignore them entirely and move to a different topic. I hope people don't think that I take compliments for granted or that I don't appreciate them. I just don't know how to respond to them.

How could it be deleted if it is there for me to delete again!?

OK...now that I post about how dumb it is that the reply can't be deleted it is gone. Stupid irony!

Just say thanks. Ackowledging them is polite and I think it gets through to your own psyche as well. My brother's pointed out to me that ignoring a compliment was rude, and if I couldn't think of anything else to say, just say thank you and move on. Good advice.
