You, her and me; Taemin-Sulli ; Angst
The flower in her hands slowly cowered as strong gust of wind blew in, the brim of skirt blown off backward as her hands protected her eyes from the dust that came along with it. Until it ceased, she continued walking in the silent hallway of the building and then outside, to where she realized it had started to rain.
“You’ve been eating too much today.” She heard a very familiar voice, her best friend in fact, already shouting as the rain drowned other noises that surrounded them.
This girl, the girl who just noticed her assumptions were right, saw the boy of her dreams, the person who always seemed too shy to show off, but actually was the sweetest angel in the company. Being wet in the rain, she didn’t mind, for her heart seemed to be forcing her to keep on moving.
On the other side of the building, she noticed the two of them, protected by the eaves roofing of the building. She could see his back, now towering over a girl in front of him, pulling out an umbrella open.
“But...but...I really am serious, Soojung,” he muttered under his breath, loud enough that a spy could hear. Krystal smiled at him, tapping his shoulder and starting to move out of the shade and into the rain.
“I only consider you as a friend, Taemin.” Her voice was cold, freezing in fact, but it could have also been the weather. “I’m sorry. I have to go meet mom at the supermarket. See you around, okay?”
And she left. Just as easy as that, uncaring, no positional stand. Nothing at all, the boy thought.
“You...like Krsytal?” the girl now entered into the scene, standing beside him, the boy practically drenched also in the rain. He looked at her horridly, uninterested, broken hearted.
“Hey Sulli,” he said mundanely. “So you’ve heard.”
She nodded, also now devastated that he liked her. “Yes, kind of.” Sulli has had this very timid crush over Taemin in years, so many years before they had even debuted in their respective groups. It was because he was always so kind around her, so gentle and unlike the other boys that loved to tease her, loved to play with her pigtails and dip them in paint or something very childish like in the sense. Actually, Taemin would be the one who defended her from it.
Taemin smiled at her, putting a hand on her wet long hair. “Well, she doesn’t feel the same way so I’ve got nothing anymore to hide.”
“But you still...like her, right?”
“You’re best friends with her,” he remarked to himself sadly. “I know you’re also concerned of her. But yes, I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.”
Sulli got the message. And the rain got stronger, knowing too the emotions whiling in her as she kept quiet with the revelation.
Stranger; Kibum-Yoona; Angst
It was in years now, that he actually had laid eyes on her again. And it could also be because he didn’t want to face everyone else in the company again, but unfortunately, he bumped into her in the front desk. His heartbeat raced swift, his blood pressure rising, his sweat increasing, his mind counting his steps as the girl smiled and greeted everyone else that came in and out of the building.
“Yoona?” he called.
The girl bowed her head at him in greeting, now she paced forward, completely ignoring him.
“Yoona, wait!”
“Do I know you?” she stopped, faced him again. “I’m sorry. Did you want to say something?”
He took off his glasses, hoping that she would recognize despite the beard and how his body grown while away. Still, there was no faint recognition in her eyes except for impatience, in which she tapped her foot and stared at her watch. “I’m sorry, sir. But I need to go now.”
Chocolates; Yunho-Lina; Angst
Ceaseless, they would come in the morning and even late at night, and then by that time he would call, ask if she had received them one way or another, even she had gone to bed.
“I’ll die of diabetes, you know,” she muttered to her phone, just as she was about to sleep, her pillow close to her.
“Do you want me to stop?”
She giggled. “You have to sometime, though.”
Yet that was before, lost in the wind now perhaps, Lina thought to herself as she started stretching in front of the full body mirror. Her face had a few creases nowadays than before, also before when she had been an active member of CSJH. Today she would perform along with a few hubaes she had met before in the company. The music ended. The chocolates stopped. The calling ceased. The world started revolving around the sun again.
But her heart. It had never felt worn just by thinking of him, if he would even come by to watch her or give her a hello. That was it. Still sad that it happened, and still sad that it ended--- Lina couldn’t quite comprehend herself yet of what to feel for him. Every performance she would give her all, for the sake that he would be in the crowd, hearing her voice upon the stage.
But he hadn’t. Nor would he ever. And even as much as she wished he would, Lina knew Yunho would not be there. Not anymore.
