It's one thing to apologize for your own fat, but it's totally lame to apologize for someone else's.

I totally agree! If I want to say I'm fat, I can. Just because someone might weigh more then me and not want to acknowledge their own weight does not give them the right to tell me that I most definitely am not fat. They should just keep quiet.
