I'm at uni in Winch, just going into my third year (aah, I feel so old!) I was there today, actually, moving some things into my new house. It's such a great place to study, and a really nice city, you'll love it! I'm on the American Studies and Literature course, very excited to get back there :)
Don't be nervous, I know I was but you'll have such a great time of it I'm sure! Absolutely stalk the place down, if you need any recs about places to go etc. just drop me a line!

Yeah, I went straight from sixth form, just turned 20 this May, boo. I suppose there's not that much of an age gap - I was always friends with people older than me, there's no reason not to be friends with someone a couple of years younger, especially if they're awesome :)
It's such a gorgeous Uni, really great lecturers.
Hmm, Alwyn Hall - I think I know that one, it's right on campus, yeah? I was at West Downs for my first year and that was brilliant - but if anything I'd suggest you try to get in the new student accommodation they've just built, it's literally just outside the uni, and looks stunning!
I'm thinking about doing my postgrad at Winch too, so who knows - I might be there the same time as you after all!
Haha, that's exactly what happened when I went for my interview before my first year, impressed the lecturer so much they remembered my name when I started :) Geeks unite!

I only started reading them recently - I'm on the second book now - and they're quite good C: I'd recommend them, especially because they're supposed to be making a film out of them in a year or so, and idk, I like to read the books before the film!
