Johnny and Stéphane have been keeping it casual because they only see each other a few times a year and that's not really a solid basis for a steady relationship. Stéphane ... gets around (it's not his fault, okay! He just has a lot of love for everyone, and he can't help it if everyone wants him) and Johnny finds himself getting increasingly jealous when he sees Stéphane being affectionate with other people, until one day he finally snaps and claims his man.

And by "claims" I mean "fucks him through the mattress and leaves marks".

And then tells him that he's kind of maybe a little in love with him.
