Evan/Johnny. The world finds out Johnny is actually a girl (I know we've seen him shirtless, but make it happen). Evan all "omfg he's a girl that explains so much" and dealing with the feelings. Porn not necessary, I just want a reaction!fic. :P

a/n - this is one of those prompts/fills that is SUPER HARD for me to keep in character, omg, but i hope it works!

His first true memory is from kindergarten, sitting in the class’s morning circle, listening to the teacher call attendance and sing a morning song.

The boy next to him, faded to a blur of dark hair in memory, tugs on Johnny’s shirt.

“Stop,” Johnny says, and means it, and the boy does

The flashes go off in that instant, capturing Johnny’s blank look and Evan’s wide-mouthed shock, and the reporters scribble furiously on their notes

He takes a deep breath and steps into the bathroom, thankful for once that Paris isn’t here, because he can be-naked-without anyone watching. He’s wearing his robe and it takes only a second to untie it, let it slip to the floor, revealing

When Johnny laces up his first pair of skates, the world changes. He circles and twirls and hops and if he’d ever had any doubt about his body, about himself, it disappears. This is what his body was meant for.

He runs inside, excited, and tells his mom that he wants to go skating, at a real rink, maybe find someone who can show him how to do that thing that Oksana Baiul does, with her leg up in the air, and he could be good at this, better than at riding, even, and mom, please, this will be awesome-

His mom takes in his face, pale and flushed from the cold, his black sweater, the old skates peeking out from underneath his loose snowpants.

For a moment she is frozen, something at the back of her mind making her wait. Making her question.

“Please, mama, let me skate,” her little boy says, and it sounds like he means it, so she smiles and nods and they call up the ice rink, right away.The story breaks in Japan first, of course, but Johnny doesn’t hear about it until later. Until he wakes up to his phone

Sometimes Tara is a good agent, a really good one, and by the time Johnny makes it to her office in the city, she’s got Evan’s people and yeah, even Evan himself, sitting around a conference table. Turns out he was in New York for a flurry of late-night interviews

“I don’t understand how that works,” Evan says finally, but some of the shock has faded from his eyes, like he’s not as stupid as Johnny’s always thought he was, he just needed more time to process it

I'm kind of in love with your Evan here! I love how calm he is (well, once he got over his first freak-out) and how he tries to help.

JSYK, men's figure skating is a lot more difficult than women's. Even the highest scoring lady in Vancouver, Queen Yuna, would only have come in 9th at the men's event. Johnny being physiologically a lady wouldn't be an advantage, it would be a disadvantage, so the ISU wouldn't be able to take away his medals on the basis of cheating. Also, you might want to explain how all those almost naked shots on BGJW missed his boobs.

Other than that, I like this. I'm interested to see where you're going with it.

no i totally get that! i know about the difficulty. i would explain more but i don't want to give everything away! but rest assured anon that nobody saw boobs on BGJW for a reason! :)

This is one of the most intriguing stories coming out of this kink meme, I think. It's unsettling, unusual and leaves me with a huge desire for *moremoremore*. Thank you and please continue. I'm dying to know the explanation for Johnny's "situation"

Oh my god. This is just... incredibly fascinating, and so notwhere I thought the prompt would go if it was ever picked up, but this is better than I could have ever expected. It's not quite magic, and not quite quantum, and not quite real, in the best possible way. Everybody's reactions are just so wonderful, and I love Evan shifting into publicity mode, and Paris and Johnny scrambling for the birth certificate. I am really, really looking forward to seeing more of this.
