Evan/Johnny

Evan is a snot to Johnny, and Johnny is a bitch to Evan. It works for them until Johnny catches Evan do some little nice thing he wasn't supposed to see (in my head he's tearing a PETA/Homophobe sign off his car or something) and shit suddenly gets complicated.

Massively confused love/hate/UST tomfoolery ensues.

Johnny is staring aimlessly out his dorm window when movement catches his eye down below. It is a young lady and Johnny instantly identifies her as a PETA protester. He can tell from the way she is walking with her head held high but still looking around constantly. Johnny sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. He is going to kill whichever security guard let her slip pass ( ... )

Johnny gets back to his seat and to his surprise there is a really delicious looking banana nut muffin sitting there. Johnny hopes maybe this day is going to turn around until a realization hits him. There is only one person who was close to his table and it was Evan fucking Lysacek. Which means Evan is the one responsible for the banana nut muffin and Johnny doesn't know what this means. He briefly considers that the muffin might be poisoned. He eats the muffin anyway. Turns out, it was delicious. Johnny doesn't put any more thought into it ( ... )

He's in New York when he gets a text from Evan. 'in the area wanna grab coffee?' it reads. And Johnny nearly drops his phone in surprise. They have never really done anything together outside of work. They life completely different lives. During the off season, it's fantastic because Johnny doesn't have to think or hear about Evan at all. Johnny checks his schedule. He's free in a hour. He wants to see Evan, he doesn't know why, but maybe he just wants to know why Evan wants to see him. He replies with the time and the name of a good coffee shop ( ... )

I love the part about buying into the media and not knowing each other really, bc fanfic is the best way to get to know each other!
