Oh god I know what you mean. Two weeks ago I didn't even know who half this pairing was, and now they've become my Olympic OTP. I hope people keep writing them even though the Olympics are now over.

Part 1

The world spins, dizzy and churning in his stomach along with something surely alive and foul that's kicking at his guts. He glances around, grumbling and squinting against the sun pushing past the thick curtains

Part 2

"Hey, dude," Apolo's voice snaps JR back to the present and he lifts his head. The screen of his friend's phone is dangling in front of his face, where Jeff and Katherine are photobombing what is most decidedly a shot of him and Apolo wrapped around one another like Olympic gold was being hidden in one another's molars. Oh yes, and the only way to find it was with their tongues

Part 3

"Jesus christ," he swears when Apolo bites at his throat. "You.. shit, you fucked me last night." Not that he's complaining, his voice more holds a note of wonder and amazement if anything at all. Apolo's hand is on his jeans, undoing the buttons of his fly with one hand and JR shivers while kicking the denim barrier aside. The frenzy of it, there's too much on them -skin to skin, he can remember needing that like a dying man needs water- and he pulls the hoodie off Apolo

Part 4

They go through the motions of getting everything swept under the rug the next day. Annulments done, names kept -thank god- out of the press, and JR thinks he can do with the suffering from the rest of the team as all they have to do is laugh about Vegas without any details. They give thumbs up and smiles, whistling when Apolo throws his arm around JR's shoulders but never say aloud anything even close to the word marriage.

It stays in Vegas.

The ring however, stays on a chain around JR's neck. The ring fits over Apolo's fingertip as he crooks it closer, smiling while they steal time in the locker room for a kiss.

Okay, maybe not everything stays in Vegas.
