Apolo's idea of coming out is changing his Facebook relationship status from "Single" to "In a Relationship with JR Celski." JR doesn't keep a Facebook, so he finds out when he turns on the TV/gets a call/Twitter/something.

J.R. wants to tell everyone that he doesn't have a Facebook because he believes that it demeans social relationships by reducing contact between any two parties to one sentence status updates and the occasional gift of a sheep. In reality, however, it's because he's too lazy to even bother giving out sheep, and Twitter, with it's 140 character limit, makes it so that no one expects anything more from him than a few words on how his breakfast went that morning. Of course, the only person he ever discussed this with is Apolo, and Apolo only rolled his eyes and told J.R. that he wouldn't ever get any fans if he kept acting this way ( ... )
