This just keeps getting better and better! Great job and I can't wait for more!

I especially love the banter between JR and Simon and this line stuck out to me so much ("Simon Cho, you shut your dirty whore mouth.”) I don't know why, but it definitely seems like something that would be said by them.

Actually, a good chunk of what's after this part was rewritten. Apolo's sekrit date was going to be Johnny, but it just didn't flow right.

Finally making some progress~

It’s in one of his classes that JR meets a girl. She’s small and clearly at least half Asian of some kind. Her hair is short and perpetually messy, and she wears her lab goggles on her head all day every Tuesday so she doesn’t forget them. He finds all of that cute, so he asks her out. Apolo is furious.

“Are you fucking serious? Trials are this fall! You don’t have time for a girlfriend!”

JR just shrugs and keeps his mouth shut about the fact that he doesn’t even know who Apolo’s been seeing for all these months.

“I’m just gonna see how it goes. I doubt it’ll get serious.”

Apolo decides within a month of meeting JR’s girlfriend, Miki, that he doesn’t like her. She’s absolutely delighted that he’s half-Japanese just like her, but he can’t bring himself to like her at all. It probably has something to do with the fact that almost every time he sees her, she’s making breakfast in JR’s pajamas and JR has that stupid just-got-laid smile on his face.

Apolo just doesn’t like Miki, even if she does make ( ... )
