Johnny and Stéphane came to some sort of agreement in 2007-2008 re: their undeniable attraction to each other and they decided to wait until they're both retired to deal with it properly (hence all the flirty vibes in '07-'08 but less of them since then). How have they dealt with it in the intervening years? How will they deal with it now (you can decide whether or not Johnny's done, though I think we all know the answer). Porn is a plus but I'm here for the angst/drama/emotionzzzzz that they've inevitably got if they ~love each other~ but are stuck on separate continents, sleeping with other men(/women), etc.

They were at their flirtiest in '09 (Festa on Ice) and '10 (KOI). If anything their flirtation has grown stronger over the years, js. That actually helps with the theory, imo. As they get closer to their retiring date, they have trouble containing their ~desire.

I may or may not agree (yes, those were both flirty times, but Festa was an isolated thing as far as I know [unless there were ~secret gatherings, they didn't have too many chances to see each other while Stéphane was retired] and KOI is... probably... post-competitive career for both), but I was basically just relaying what was being said in the thread itself (apparently there were actually rumors of them dating in '07-'08). :) In any case, the prompt still works either way, as you say!
