So yes, even though NYC and south apparently did not get the kind of doom-bringing snow predicted, up here in Mass we are enjoying--or at least I am--snow-mageddon. A little west of Boston already has 30in, and it's still coming down. I'm off work, so I get to watch snow and study.

It was great! I've actually always had a good experience with Secret Santa. When participating with a good group, people are surprisingly thoughtful.

I'm nice and toasty at home and excited about another snow day tomorrow!

Snow day! Wish we got those. At the moment we could use a "freezing rain" day. It rained yesterday and froze overnight so the sidewalks and roads are pure ice. I'd rather have the snow to be honest. :)

Enjoy it while you can! And good luck with the studying.

Well, when public transit can't run (and let me tell you, it's a miracle the T runs functionally on regular days),pretty much everything else closes, too.

Today was another snow day! Unexpected, but nice all the same.

Lucky! We must have better snow removal - and that wouldn't be surprising since we're used to more snow. I don't think in 24 years I've lived here that transit ever hasn't run. School buses pretty often, though that's due to wind chills and the danger for kids waiting outside for buses more.

Enjoy your second unexpected day off!
