and there's rules! They are ----

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next seven sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
6. Tag five other people to do the same.

"They are used similar to how grozing pliers are used in stained glass work. As seen in Figure 19, they have short tungsten carbide blades mounted at the end of their jaws. When you squeeze the handle, the blades which are mounted perpendicular to the way blades are on scissors, come almost together. They are used to nip off small pieces of tile. In our situation, they can be used to nip off a section of rod.

"A new type of mosaic cane nippers, the Leponitt Mosaic Glass Cutter, has recently come on the market, which has two replaceable tungsten carbide blades. The carbide disk blades hace a sharpened, 85 degree included angle cutting edge."

(This is from "more than you ever wanted to know about glass beadmaking" by James Kervin)
