A couple of weeks ago, there were tornado warnings (not watches, mind you) down around that area. Tonight, it was "just" severe thunderstorms.

Sounds like y'all got your a$$es handed to you. Just promise me something, m'kay? If the streets even look like they might flooded, you turn around and go a different way, please? Remember the NWS flood motto "Turn around, don't drown"

Had to do this a couple of times last night. Saw at least one person get stuck. Low slung Cadillac, real smart.

Glad you're OK... I didn't know you were out in that! Up here it was hailing--pieces of ice bouncing off the back door etc. Roof leaking, too.

Yeah, it was quite an experience. I've heard of "blinding rain" before, but I've never driven in it.

Glad that you made it home safe sweetie! We were supposed to get hammered but just had a little light rain. It's going to be 85 here today!! What's up with that!?
