Beijing

So here I am, finally in the capital of the People's Republic of China. I will try to do my best not to compare Beijing to Tokyo, even though it's hard not to do so (especially since they seem opposite in almost every possible way). In a few words.. This is really a huge city, and amazingly crowded and polluted. I've never seen any place like this

Aw! I'm glad to hear you're having fun (if counting out the annoying teachers, ew). The dog's name sounds like the girl's name to me.. um. I wonder if they have people named Lai-Fu as well. I remember watching this film "Beijing Bicycle" (Shiqi sui de dan che!) about a boy from the country who starts working in the bicycle delivery company. The traffic looked absolutely crazy there, so be careful!

She is, indeed, a female dog. Very cute and very friendly, even though she (like many other dogs)sometimesthinks of herself as a mighty guard dog. I'll take a picture of her.
