A Kpop ramble? IDEK.
Lately, I've noticed a few of you moving into new fandoms specifically Kpop. I find myself reading my flist and not knowing wtf some of you are talking about, and I don't like that. D:
The only problem is, I really can't get into kpop. And I've tried. The only kpop I actually really like is DBSK. Super Junior do nothing for me, there's too damn many of them. And more is not always merrier. XD I'll admit their music is catchy sometimes, but I don't have the patience to learn their Korean names.
Then there's the fact that interviews are not fun to watch because I don't understand what they're saying. You're probably all thinking that's a bit of a moot point because all I listen to now is Japanese stuff, but atleast with that I understand some. And I know how the language works to some degree, and when I don't understand I have an interest to learn. With Korean I can't even pronounce it or tell the words apart.
And I'm not done with JE yet. I haven't heard everyone song ever, I don't know the entire history of everything. And I like to do things completely like that, even if it's just a fandom. This is my inability to like anything casually. Everything becames a quest for information with me. And I'm really loyal to my liking of JE, even when things they release suck. I'm more loyal to them than I ever was to Gackt (look how I bitch about him now!). JE hasn't surpasssed my love for L'arc~en~Ciel yet though. 8D
I guess this was a bit pointless to type out, but I just felt like saying it (it's my lj after all!). This isn't a big deal at all, I was just thinking about it this morning. My friends don't have to share a fandom with me, I don't like you guys because of your fandom. If all my friends had to like jpop I don't think I'd have any RL friends at all. Maybe in 6 months I'll love kpop? I want to be able to like things for longer amounts of time and not be so jumpy.
Although I will say that I bet my next thing is Tenimyu. Just so you know! XD

One more day of classes until Labor Day weekend. Omg free time! ♥ I want to make a list of things to get done so I just don't veg for the whole weekend.
I have a math quiz today, my first quiz of my college academic career. \:D/
Sometimes I feel like I do all the housework around here, especially since summer began. And now that we're selling the house, everything has to be clean all the time, so it's worse. I guess it's okay, I'm just becoming really anal about how clean things are now.
