I use to not be into politics...couldn't hold a conversation to save my life on why one candidate was better then the other or even why I should vote. That was a few years back. These days, I actually read the paper trying to track what is going on

When we're prospering as a nation and people are doing well, compassion is less essential than plain good management and good ethics, but because we have so many people who've been out of work and desperately struggling to keep body, soul, and home together, it's critical. He doesn't seem to understand that there are people for whom "work harder" is not a reasonable answer to "I need help."
I just don't think he'd govern for the *whole* country, instead of just his part of it.
