It's the start of my vacation and I couldn't be happier about it. I'm going no where. I will not be seeing my parents. Hell, I don't even know if I'll call them this week, though I suppose I should. The wind ripped through the trees violently and the hard falling rain could be seen changing direction rapidly in the air, back and forth, like screaming ghosts. Buildings were flooded, trees were knocked over, shingles ripped. Just the sort of weather to fit my mood.

Loved that sentence, i could really visualise that wind and rain. (i'm strange as I like wind and rain lol)

It was really a sight to see...I can only be thankful I've never sustained any damage during any of these rainstorms. Texas is a good place for them if you like them big, if you can deal with the heat all the rest of the time.
