1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Had a non-nepotism job.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did better than in the past, except I slacked off on my fitness near the end of the year. For this year: Go to the f-ing gym.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not this year.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My friend Dan died right before his 25th birthday. It was awful.

5. What countries did you visit?
Nope.

6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?  
a portfolio. better contact with old friends.

7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Dan's death. The whole affair was pretty brutal.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 
Getting these costuming gigs.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not doing more. Not going to the free gym I have access to. Not meeting new people.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing too bad.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ticket to Dragon*Con, again?

14. Where did most of your money go?
Clothes, as usual.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Dragon*Con. Fitness.

19. What do you wish you'd done more of? Meeting new people and doing new things.

21. How will you be spending Christmas? I was at home, for once.

22. Did you fall in love in 2012? Nope.

28. What did you want and get? Costuming jobs. Meeting Doc Hammer.

29. What did you want and not get? A more solid plan for the future.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? Avengers was super solid. I also mightily enjoyed the Hobbit.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 25. And it was the best goddamn birthday ever. The Protomen had their Queen album release show at the Exit/In and I met Jack Black. He was the nicest.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? My own place.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? Half post-apocalyptic, half goth.

34. What kept you sane? Work. Fitness.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Rachel Maddow/Ryan Gosling/Doc Hammer/Jeremy Renner

36. What political issue stirred you the most? The shitshow that was the re-election campaign. That whole thing got so dumb.

37. Who did you miss? My college friends. As always.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Either my boss Alex or June, the other awesome costume lady I work with. They are amazing people.
