Rapture

In light of my current interest in Revelation (it's probably just a passing fad), I found this bumper-sticker-worthy quote especially amusing: "WARNING: In case of rapture the eschatological views of this poster will change suddenly."

I found it fourth-hand, quoted in this strangely humorous blog discussion, which I found linked from Abigail's Read more... )

Well I ordered Eckley's commentary from Amazon, so I may be up there with you soon with the interest in Revelation thing. Although, how ever many place say it was published in January I know that the first manuscript wasn't in for a couple months after, so I'm skeptical about getting it anytime soon. I thought I might read Ellul's Apocalypse with it. who knows.

Tim, we should have, like, a discussion group. I need to stretch my mind after being away from college for two years. Then again, your mind is probably ready for a vacation, right?

haha I will do what I can... I'm not sure when it will really come in because I'm pretty sure it isn't published yet... but I would be willing to, but i may be sporadic in my contribution. I am doing a semi-intensive IS on Kant this summer. But I live for that kind of theological interaction

i haven't listened to these audio files yet, but i do really appreciate warren gage, which reminds me that his john-revelation project (that the above audio files are tied into) is extremely interesting and helpful.
