It's snowing again...I dozed for a while, and when I woke a few minutes ago, I became aware of that special stillness in the air, as if the whole outdoors was holding its breath...I drew back the curtain on the window and sure enough - the ground is covered in white. It is so peaceful and uplifting, like a benediction...I managed to keep myself

What a beautiful image. I love snow, and turn into a five-year-old every time it graces us with an appearance. since we don't get it -tons- of snow, I don't have to worry about overkill... it really is a treat to see it. It snowed a bit here yesterday, but it didn't stick (we were supposed to have three inches.)

I'm glad to know I'm not driving people nuts with all the snow squeeing! ;-) Snow is such fun, isn't it? I don't how anyone could resist turning into a five-year-old...

Indeed. :) If just an 1/8th of an inch of snow covers the ground, I'll be the one scraping my hands raw as I try to gather up enough snow to build at least a miniature snowman. lol I am -so- not ashamed of my inner child. ;)

I -really- need to make myself more icons! Sheesh!

Lol, I do that too...I'm the only (supposed) grown-up in my neighborhood who builds snowmen. :-) Ditto for snow angels, snowball fights, etc. An inner child is a terrible thing to waste. Let it out to play! ;-D
