i wasn't actually addicted to caffeine for the longest time, it was really strange. i have an addictive personality, but up two years ago or so, i could drink coffee and tea like a mad person for months and months and go cold turkey for a month without any problems or headaches or crabbiness. to be fair, my caffeine tolerance is about fifty times higher now. back in the day, three consecutive cups of cafe coffee made me jitter so much my hands didn't stop shaking for hours.
