So me and ilanabean42 were spamming the crap out of each other as per usual, right? We were discussing about writing styles and how recognizable writing styles are (and the way I’m totally psychic and realized what fic was hers in a heartbeat) and then she had this Idea.

Jun is unhappy with his hair. Aiba can tell by the way he keeps running his hands through it and then irritably smoothing it down again. Finally, he plunks himself down in front of a mirror and starts trying to style his hair in some way he’ll be satisfied with.

“You look fine,” Aiba tells him, but he’s not surprised when Jun doesn’t respond, just shoots him a “What do you know?” look and goes back to his hair. “Who cares if your hair isn’t perfect?” Aiba tries again. (That’s a dumb question; Jun cares.)

“It’s part of our job to look good,” Jun points out, annoyed. “The fans like us because we look good.”

Aiba likes to think that the fans like them for more than just their good hair, but what does he know? Maybe that’s the reason Jun is so much more popular than him. “Well, I like you even if your hair isn’t perfect,” he offers.

Jun doesn’t even smile, but he pauses for a moment before scoffing and going back to his styling. Aiba knows Jun well enough to know that that means he’s pleased, so he smiles for him.

Yes'm. Wolfie...well, she was working on it, but I think she gave up (which is funny since this was written for her). Maybe someone else will manage to convince me instead.
