You know, it's a little bit ridiculous when the snow's piled up so high that you can barely get the door open.

If anyone needs me, I'll be outside. Shoveling.

god peter stop being so lazy, family life, always winter never christmas, chores

I'll help when I get back, but it really isn't that much. Be careful of the faun, in any case.

It isn't so bad in moderation, I guess.

Oh, yes it is. It's so cold, icy, and then it gets slushy and gross. And you can't go to the beach when it's snowing either. That's the worst part.

But there's also snowball fights and sleigh rides.

"I've a hand or two," says Caspian with a shovel held up and leaning against his own shoulder. Yes, he can do manual labor. Bet you didn't see that coming.

As a matter of fact, he didn't. Ed blanks for a moment before giving a nod. "If you want to help. But you don't have to." it's cold but not too cold- aptly seasonal and his cheeks are already bright red.

And yes. He is wearing the hat and scarf combo. But in his defense they're the only one he has. Don't judge.

He pauses after shoveling another bit onto the side of their house.

Caspian is dressed down as a Caspian can dress down, meaning jeans and a t-shirt under another long sleeve shirt under a one of those hooded jackets topped up with a scarf. But never a hat. No he isn't one for covering his hair except with a (god awful) crown. He smiles at the Just. Feeling better are we, or is this one way to cope with sibling tension?

"Let us not speak of obligations, otherwise it would sound like real work," he remarks while setting the shovel into the snow, boot to the edge and digging in. Caspian does know how to do this. Surprise.

More like trying to distract himself. But anyways, that's not the issue here.

Ed glances wryly at the Telmarine, watching him shovel as he dumps another load of snow onto the side of their lawn, away from the walkways.

"I'm assuming that you learned to do this here. I don't think they did much shoveling in Narnia."

Caspian's helping, actually. [There's a wry edge to his voice, a pause as he turns to look at said Telmarine.]

But thanks for the offer.

I didn't expect it, actually. But I suppose you're right.

But we don't really live in the city, so it would be a bother for you to walk here anyways. But will do.
